Position Overview:

  • We are looking for a dedicated full-time fellowship-trained inpatient Geriatric Psychiatrist to fill a vital role at Archway Physician Recruitment.
  • This position is an academic faculty role at the Assistant/Associate Professor level within the College of Medicine's Department of Psychiatry.
  • The responsibilities include providing direct inpatient care and leading a multi-disciplinary team composed of psychiatry residents, internal medicine and family medicine residents, medical students, social workers, nurses, and recreation therapists.
  • Additionally, the role encompasses involvement in scholarly pursuits, faculty development, patient safety initiatives, and quality improvement projects.
  • We provide a nurturing environment conducive to professional advancement and academic growth, along with access to cutting-edge facilities.

Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent degree is required.
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan.
  • Board certification or eligibility through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Geriatric Psychiatry is essential.
