Branch Manager

Premier Trailer Leasing is a leading provider of trailer leasing and rental services, recognized as a 'USA Today Top Work Places' and one of the largest companies in the nation. We specialize in long-term leasing and short-term rental services for over-the-road vans, flatbeds, refrigerated equipment, and chassis, with an inventory of 60,000+ trailers and a growing network of locations across the United States.

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the branch, with direct P/L responsibility and supervision of staff members. This position reports to the Regional Vice President/GM and is heavily sales-focused.

• Manage all branch functions and ensure overall branch performance.
• Successfully promote and advertise the Value Proposition of Premier Trailer Leasing.
• Prospect and secure opportunities to quote on customer equipment requirements.
• Follow up on quotations submitted to customers.
• Establish professional customer/vendor relationships with key personnel.
• Collect payments and manage accounts receivable.
• Train and mentor subordinates.

• 3-5 years of experience in operations and/or the trucking industry, rental, or customer service environments.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, plus 7 years of experience in sales and/or the trucking industry, rental, or customer service environments.

• Drive in excess of five hours per day.
• Get in and out of an automobile repeatedly each workday.
• Physically inspect trailers inside and out.
• Must be able to get in and underneath a trailer.
• Walk up and down flights of stairs as necessary and walk the yard.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
