Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Della Infotech. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing invasive and interventional procedures to diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all necessary procedures on patients in all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, and adult care.
  • Complete studies in a timely and efficient manner, utilizing downtime to assist others where needed.
  • Organize workload during high volume to expedite patient care and communicate to other technologists all pending exams and any pertinent information.
  • Maintain and implement current skills and knowledge, policy, and procedure specific to radiology examinations and procedures.
  • Assist the physician in performing radiology procedures.
  • Promote positive relationships at the department level and discuss concerns with the supervisor and present the department in a positive manner to other employees and staff.
  • Handle equipment in a safe and appropriate manner within guidelines and policies of WRMC and the Radiology department.
  • Maintain clean work area and follow equipment cleaning policies.
  • Willingly assist with procedures in any area of radiology when needed.
  • Check with co-workers during downtime for need of assistance.
  • Maintain supplies with a minimum inventory and develop new methods of supply utilization.
  • Follow the "on-call" policy by responding to call back within an acceptable timeframe.
  • Follow attendance and tardy policies.
  • Follow WRMC dress code and appearance policy.
  • Participate in required hospital and department in-services and meetings.
  • Follow safety and infection control policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent - Required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Radiology - Strongly Preferred
  • 2 years of Cath Lab Experience - Strongly Preferred
  • Must be ARRT registered and Licensed in the State of Arkansas - Required
  • Must have BLS upon hire (or 30 days post hire date) - Required
