Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with routine, direct bedside care of patients of various ages
  • Performing personal hygiene, data collection, and observation tasks
  • Collecting vital signs, I&O, and using equipment as needed
  • Documenting patient information in the medical record
  • Responding to emergency situations and answering call lights
