Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily functions and logistics of the warehouse.

Supervisory Duties:

  • No supervisory responsibilities.

Work Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

  • Incentive Program:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees inventory management and updates the inventory database.
  • Plans and organizes the movement of goods within the warehouse, including the storage and dispatch of completed products.
  • Executes daily production and shipping schedules, ensuring that surplus stock is appropriately stored.
  • Manages the flow of finished goods by adjusting storage allocations as necessary.
  • Verifies item availability for shipment by checking inventory records or conducting physical counts.
  • Identifies slow-moving inventory and, with authorization, facilitates its removal.
  • Guides forklift operators in the proper storage of products.
  • Handles, repacks, or rearranges pallets of finished goods as required.
  • Operates forklift equipment as necessary.
  • Records all relevant activities and completes necessary documentation.
  • Performs additional related tasks as assigned.
  • Handles incoming calls related to warehouse operations.
  • Processes orders and confirmations using the P21 system.
  • Ensures cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of or ability to quickly learn product codes and terminology.
  • Comprehensive understanding of warehouse protocols and procedures.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions regarding inventory management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A valid state motor vehicle operator's license for forklift operation is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a warehouse setting is essential.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be capable of lifting items weighing up to 55 pounds.
  • Ability to navigate throughout the warehouse effectively.

Compensation:

$20 - $22 per hour
