We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team at The Laurels of Middletown. As an STNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our guests, working under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Measure and record height and weight, intake and output.
- Care for the guests environment, ensuring a clean and safe space.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting, promoting dignity and respect for our guests.
- Assist with eating and hydration, ensuring our guests receive the nutrition they need.
- Observe guests skin when administering care and report changes to licensed nurse, providing skin care as needed.
- Meet guests mental health and social service needs, providing emotional support and connection.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate/GED
- STNA certification
