We are seeking a skilled Assembly Machine Operator to join our team at Connexion Systems & Engineering, Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating automated assembly machines and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and Feeding: Load plastic capacitor housing onto the starting station of automated assembly machines and load coils of stamped material onto the payoff system.
- Preparation and Inspection: Prepare capacitor trays by setting them to the appropriate size and manually straighten capacitor leads.
- Assembly and Packaging: Insert capacitor leads into cutting tools, trim to prescribed length, and load trimmed capacitors onto trays.
- Quality Control: Visually inspect finished capacitors as required and record lot numbers for plastic housings, coil stock, and capacitors.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete paperwork as required and maintain accurate records.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Manufacturing Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a production or assembly role.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software and equipment.
- Soft Skills: Strong initiative, good prioritization, organizational, and time management skills, with a drive for continuous improvement.
