GE Aerospace is seeking a skilled Equiax Casting Specialist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our investment casting foundry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equiax casting processes, including wax injection, solidification analysis, pre-heat/pour parameters, post-cast operations, thermal operations, NDT's, and inspection processes.

You will work closely with the operations leader and other support functions to improve SQDC and implement best practices in our investment casting foundry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement best practices in equiax casting processes.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering to improve casting producibility and introduce new products.
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in casting related process experience, preferably equiax castings.
  • Knowledge of wax, soluble, and ceramic core die design.
  • Familiarity with RP pattern usage in an NPI environment.
  • Functional process knowledge of equiax casting processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple and concurrent projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to travel when necessary.
Estimated Salary

$160,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
