Responsibilities
  • Ensure patient safety at all times.
  • Transport patients to and from the imaging department.
  • Manage telephone scheduling for both inpatients and outpatients.
  • Communicate exam results to the physician promptly.
  • Initiate IV lines for contrast fluid administration as needed.
  • Exhibit proficiency in contrast media injections and understanding potential reactions.
  • Engage in performance enhancement initiatives.
  • Assist with additional tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the department.
Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Associate Degree or equivalent (2 years)
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) or eligible for registration
  • If registry eligible upon hire, must achieve registration within one year of employment and maintain it throughout employment.
  • BLS Certification required
  • 1 - 3 years of experience as a Radiological Technologist
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist with a focus on Cardiac general CT and CTA

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Advanced certification in CT imaging
