About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at a 161-bed short-term acute care hospital in Southern California.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Nuclear Medicine and PET scan modalities to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, scheduling, and operations within the department.
  • Maintain radiation safety protocols in compliance with California state laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Immediate need with potential for contract extension based on performance and department needs.
Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting, particularly in managing Nuclear Medicine and PET scan modalities.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and California state regulations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
