About Our Family Birth Center
At Asante Ashland Community Hospital, our Family Birth Center is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for women to give birth. We believe in specialized holistic care and take pride in our patient experience.

We offer a range of amenities and services to make your birthing experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our center features 5 LDRP rooms, 2 water birth rooms, and 2 postpartum overflow rooms. We follow AWHONN staffing guidelines for labor and mom/baby couplets, ensuring that you receive the highest level of care throughout your pregnancy and postpartum journey.

Your Role as a Registered Nurse
As a Family Birth Center RN at Asante, you will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team of bedside staff and management to provide exceptional care to our patients. You will be responsible for caring for both low and high-risk patients, taking an active role in the decision-making process through participation on shared governance councils, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferably with experience in Labor & Delivery. You must also be licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) and hold Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Additionally, you will need to obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification within 4 months of hire.
