Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.
Responsibilities- Perform imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology practice standards to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease.
- Utilize radiologic principles and theory to select the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures and treatments.
- Complete documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Participate in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure that patient care is consistent with established standards.
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with current Registry in Radiography ARRT(R) or new graduate who is waiting to take the registry.
- Proof of ARRT (by primary source) must be available within 60 calendar days of graduation.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire date.
