Job Title: HRIS/Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled HRIS/Payroll Specialist to join our team at EverStaff. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while optimizing HR operations through effective use of the HRIS system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Accurately calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and other payroll components.
  • Handle payroll adjustments, including salary changes, promotions, and terminations.
  • Reconcile payroll data, identify discrepancies, and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Act as the primary administrator for the Inova HRIS (UKG Ready Partner) system.
  • Maintain comprehensive employee records, including personal information, employment history, benefits, and payroll details.
  • Implement and manage system updates, enhancements, and configurations.
  • Troubleshoot HRIS-related issues and collaborate with vendors to resolve them.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including employee enrollment, changes, and terminations.
  • Reconcile monthly benefits invoices to ensure accuracy before payment approval.
  • Educate employees on available benefits and address any related inquiries.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline payroll and HR processes through system enhancements or procedural changes.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to adopt best practices and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a payroll specialist, preferably with experience using Inova HRIS (UKG) or similar systems.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and payroll calculations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
