Your role is crucial. Every position contributes to our patients' experiences, and you have the chance to make a significant impact. We are in search of a committed Registered Nurse - Special Procedures PRN to enhance our team.
Job Summary and Qualifications

The Special Procedures Registered Nurse will play a vital role within the Medical Imaging/Radiology team, delivering exceptional nursing care to both inpatient and outpatient clients in the Medical Imaging Department.

You will provide care for patients of all ages and must be equipped to manage any unforeseen emergencies that may arise during imaging or interventional procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nursing duties across various domains, including general diagnostics, interventional and therapeutic procedures, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and breast imaging.
  • Clearly explain procedures and address any questions from patients and their families.
  • Assess patient conditions and ensure accurate documentation in their medical records.
  • Evaluate nursing needs and initiate appropriate interventions for patients in the Medical Imaging/Radiology Department.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding the effectiveness of care provided.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program; an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is mandatory.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the practicing state or possession of an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA or American Red Cross is also required.
  • Prior experience in Critical Care is preferred.
