Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic individual to join our team as a Certified Hospice Aide. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting patients with daily activities, promoting comfort, and supporting caregivers at end-of-life. Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed
  • Transfer patients safely using Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, and gait belts
  • Demonstrate safe techniques when assisting patients ambulating with walkers, canes, and crutches
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Completed a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training
  • Hold current certification as a nurse aide and be in good standing on the state nurse aide registry
  • Sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently; able to lift at least 50 lbs
