Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at North Okaloosa Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

• Prepare patients for surgery by gathering and arranging equipment and surgical tools
• Assist surgeons and surgical assistants during procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room
• Count and verify surgical tools and instruments
• Apply dressings to surgical sites and dispose of needles and gauze

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience
• Current BLS certification from the AHA or ARC
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
