Job Overview

We are seeking both seasoned and novice Construction Materials Testing Specialists. These roles are full-time and come with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Essential Qualifications:
- This role involves outdoor fieldwork and laboratory assessments. Successful candidates will conduct tests on concrete, soils, masonry, and asphalt.

- Flexibility to adapt to a schedule based on project requirements, including potential overtime, evening, and weekend work.

- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary, as many positions require travel using a company vehicle.

- Ability to work autonomously with a stakeholder mindset, necessitating self-motivation and direction.

- Capability to lift and transport over 50 lbs and navigate construction sites safely.

Preferred Education / Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ACI Field Grade 1 and Strength certification is preferred
- ICC certification in reinforced concrete is advantageous but not mandatory
- ICC certification in masonry is beneficial but not essential
- NICET certifications in Concrete or Soils are preferred but not required
- ODOT certification in Soils, Asphalt, and Concrete is preferred but not required
- Nuclear Density Gauge Safety Training
- Hazmat Safety Training

Required Skills & Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, data, and documenting collected information.
- Strong professional communication skills and basic computer proficiency.

Experience in construction materials testing, documentation, laboratory analysis, or candidates with degrees in civil or geotechnical engineering is a plus.
