  • A well-established team consisting of 5 General Surgeons, 2 collaborative Vascular Surgeons, 1 Colorectal Surgeon, and 3 Advanced Practitioners.
  • A cohesive group of colleagues and a supportive staff that fosters autonomy.
  • Experienced clinical and non-clinical staff who are familiar with the community and its patients.
  • Fully integrated healthcare system utilizing EPIC EMR to enhance care coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a minimum of 7 days of call per month, shared with 2 collaborative Vascular Surgeons.
  • Schedule includes 2 days in clinic and 1-2 days in the operating room.
  • Collaborate as a team member to enhance the health of the communities served.
  • Evaluate, interpret, and coordinate information to make informed decisions regarding patient care.
  • Demonstrate a patient-focused approach, with a friendly demeanor and willingness to collaborate.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted medical license in Illinois and Iowa.
  • Current and unrestricted authority to prescribe and administer medications relevant to the field of practice.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt).
  • J-1 waiver sponsorship is available.
