Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team at OrePac Holding Company. As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor/trailer, curtain van, or flat to deliver building products throughout the local area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a 48-53 foot tractor/trailer, curtain van, or flat under DOT guidelines and regulations to deliver building products throughout the local area
  • Make multiple customer stops with occasional hand unloading of items and forklift off by consignee
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products
  • Meet or exceed customer service standards and maintain a positive relationship with customers
Requirements
  • Current Class A CDL with current medical certificate and insurable driving record
  • Ability to conduct interstate commerce
  • Ability to perform all job functions safely
  • Ability to regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • At least 1 year of safe commercial driving experience (preferred but not required)
  • Double/triple trailer endorsement or the ability to obtain endorsement within the first month of employment (required only in states that permit pulling of double or triple trailers)
