Position Overview:
Under the guidance of the Principal and Assistant Principals, the role involves collaborating with Applied Behavior Specialists to deliver a tailored program utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis. This approach is essential for addressing the unique challenges faced by autistic and developmentally disabled children, employing effective methodologies to enhance learning outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: Candidates should possess LBS1 certification along with relevant teaching experience in special education. References demonstrating teaching excellence and collaborative skills in a structured setting are required.
  • Physical Requirements: The role necessitates the ability to perform de-escalation techniques, engage in physical activities, and lift up to 75 lbs. as needed.
  • Skills: Strong references indicating success in team-teaching and collaboration with colleagues and administrative staff are essential.
  • Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education with LBS1 certification is mandatory.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM.
  • Successful candidates must complete a physical/drug screening, criminal background check, and MVR background check.
