We are seeking a skilled Nursing Support Technician to join our team at Grady Health System. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in an inpatient setting.

About the Role

This role is responsible for providing age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care to patients under the supervision of licensed professionals. Your duties will include collecting information, communicating effectively, and utilizing technology to provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living.

You will also be responsible for providing comfort measures and nourishments, performing delegated tasks and therapies, and advocating for patient safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and support in an inpatient setting
  • Collect and document patient information, including medical history and vital signs
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Utilize technology to access patient information and perform administrative tasks
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing and dressing
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • One of the following certifications: Georgia Nursing Assistant Certification, Patient Care Technician (PCT) Program completion, or a Basic Nursing Fundamental Course certificate from an accredited School of Nursing
