Work Schedule: Day shifts

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance patient functionality and skills by administering, guiding, and overseeing physical therapy services.
  • Collaborate with Certified Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) across the network, offering clinical supervision and consultation.
  • Be available to address inquiries from PTA staff.
  • Supervise PTA and Rehabilitation Technicians during individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring efficient resource utilization and the development of clinical skills, adhering to State Practice Acts and organizational policies.
  • Advance professional expertise and management capabilities through collaboration with colleagues, self-directed learning, and ongoing education.
  • Maintain an active state license (as applicable) and stay informed about industry trends and healthcare developments.
  • Understand various payment models related to billing and treatment guidelines, ensuring quality care and achievable patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards within the healthcare environment, while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
  • Exhibit ethical, legal, and responsible conduct at all times.
  • Travel between facilities as required during scheduled hours.
  • Be flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays, and participate in mandatory meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a Competency Checklist by a peer PT prior to patient care.
  • Graduation from an APTA accredited physical therapy program.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Experience in skilled nursing facilities is preferred.
  • Completion of a COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to starting, with results available 48 hours before commencement.
