We are looking for a skilled Lead Embedded Software Quality Assurance Engineer to become a vital member of our innovative team. In this position, you will be instrumental in crafting, executing, and overseeing thorough testing strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of our software solutions. You will work closely with developers to identify and resolve issues, guaranteeing an optimal user experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement software automation methodologies and best practices.
  • Create automated software API/Interface tests utilizing selected tools.
  • Apply computer science principles such as design patterns, data structures, object-oriented programming, and software architecture.
  • Effectively utilize Source Code Management tools.
  • Investigate performance and security testing methodologies.
  • Support performance and security testing initiatives at the system level.
  • Explore Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies.
  • Examine test-driven development (TDD) practices.
  • Manage the creation of dynamic software test data.
  • Engage in Code/Test Reviews.
  • Participate in all phases of testing as necessary.
  • Contribute to discussions regarding the appropriate testing levels for implemented functionalities.
  • Exhibit proficiency in traditional black box software testing techniques.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry and company regulatory and software quality standards, applying this knowledge to all projects.
  • Develop and sustain relevant documentation and procedures in accordance with industry, vendor, and company standards.
  • Familiarity with GMP/IEEE/ISO 9000 standards for software quality assurance, impact/risk analysis, and software traceability.
  • Demonstrate strong Agile principles and actively participate in all scrum ceremonies.
  • Exhibit required competencies and progress within the Leadership Competency Model.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience that enables successful performance of the essential functions of the role may be considered.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is based in a typical office environment, which includes reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Target Pay Range: $110,800.00 to $138,000. Salary will be determined based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Target Bonus on Base: 7.0%
