Volleyball Coach

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Volleyball Sports Coach to join our team at the YMCA of the Suncoast. As a Volleyball Sports Coach, you will be responsible for coaching and instructing youth volleyball players, promoting a safe and supportive environment, and developing their skills and confidence.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement engaging volleyball programs for youth participants, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
2. Lead and motivate teams to achieve their best, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
3. Ensure a safe and healthy environment for all participants, adhering to YMCA safety standards and policies.
4. Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and staff, providing clear instructions and feedback.
5. Maintain accurate attendance records and enrollment data, ensuring timely reporting and communication.
6. Participate in coaches' meetings and parent orientations, fostering collaboration and open communication.
7. Model the YMCA's core values, including Caring, Respect, Honesty, and Responsibility, in all interactions and activities.

Requirements:

To be successful as a Volleyball Sports Coach, you will need:

• A genuine passion for working with youth and promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience in developing and implementing sports programs.
• A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment, adhering to YMCA safety standards and policies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.

What We Offer:
