Job Title: Data Governance Lead

Kasasa is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Lead to join our team. As a Data Governance Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's data assets to ensure high data quality, integrity, and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap, including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities.
  • Roll out an enterprise-wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data architecture.
  • Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company's principal information assets.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align data governance initiatives with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain inventory of the enterprise information maps, including authoritative systems, owners.
  • Provide progress reports to Board management and oversee periodic updates to the Department Data Governance Roadmap.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies.
  • Strong knowledge of data management tools and technologies, including SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in data quality tools and metadata management solutions.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
