Position Overview

The Ambulatory Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in the Clinical Podiatry department, supporting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care. This full-time position involves working closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The Ambulatory LPN will:

1. Assist healthcare providers during patient visits and procedures, including:
- Wound debridement
- Dressing changes
- Wound measurements
- Documentation
- Routine laboratory tests
- Referrals
- Monitoring quality outcomes for the patient population

2. Provide back-office support for patient care and administrative tasks during times of clinician absence or increased patient volume.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
- A valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the appropriate licensing authority.
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare environment is preferred.
