The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 per year, based on national averages for similar positions in the retail industry.

 

About the Job

This role requires you to demonstrate genuine enthusiasm and sincerity while customizing your approach to meet guest needs and build rapport through individualized service. You will effectively assess, anticipate, and follow-through on guest needs and questions related to products, ensuring accurate tender handling and performing necessary POS responsibilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Customize your approach to meet guest needs and build rapport through individualized service.
  • Affectively assess, anticipate, and follow-through on guest needs and questions related to products.
  • Ensure accurate tender handling, including cash handling, check cashing, credit and debit processing, electronic benefits transfers, gift certificates, and miscellaneous tender.
  • Perform necessary POS responsibilities, including price checks, and proper completion of “item not of file” documentation.
  • Correctly identify produce items and their corresponding PLU codes.
