Responsibilities- Provide patient care to patients on the cardiac/pulmonary telemetry unit, including administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes, reduce errors, and enhance the overall quality of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure that patients receive timely and accurate information about their care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Tennessee or a compact state.
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a cardiac telemetry setting.
- EPIC experience within the last 12 months.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification.
- PCU experience is required for this position.
