Job SummaryHenry Rehab and Nursing is seeking a skilled Cook to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating an exceptional dining experience for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect special diet trays to ensure accurate diet delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate food service.
- Work with the facility's dietitian to implement recommended changes.
- Ensure adherence to established food policies and procedures.
- Prepare meals according to planned menus.
- Present meals that are visually appealing and appetizing.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of dietary experience preferred, with training provided for the right candidate.
- Prior experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or related setting is a plus.
- Ability to provide assistance in all food functions as directed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience as a Dietary Aide is a plus, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.
- This is a direct hire position; we are not an agency.
