Dietary Specialist

Henry Rehab and Nursing is seeking a skilled Cook to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating an exceptional dining experience for residents.

• Inspect special diet trays to ensure accurate diet delivery.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate food service.
• Work with the facility's dietitian to implement recommended changes.
• Ensure adherence to established food policies and procedures.
• Prepare meals according to planned menus.
• Present meals that are visually appealing and appetizing.

• Minimum one year of dietary experience preferred, with training provided for the right candidate.
• Prior experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or related setting is a plus.
• Ability to provide assistance in all food functions as directed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience as a Dietary Aide is a plus, but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.
• This is a direct hire position; we are not an agency.
