Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Summary:

Northstrat is seeking highly skilled software engineers to join our team of talented professionals. As a software engineer at Northstrat, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and deploying new software applications. Our team works on mission-critical software applications for the defense and intelligence community, and we are looking for individuals with a strong background in software engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in new development starting with requirements analysis and design
  • Provide a technical solution compliant with the design and interface definitions
  • Provide support to test, integration, and deployment of the software baseline
  • Understand and be able to communicate technical concepts
  • Collaborate on technical items with the larger team
  • Knowledge of development and configuration management practices with previous development experience

Requirements:

  • Expertise with Java, HTML5, CSS, RESTful, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Cesium. React, and OpenLayers
  • Experience with Web services
  • Expertise in service-based development
  • Expertise with Linux operating systems

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of software-defined radio systems
  • Exposure to all phases of product development (concept, design, implementation, test, and production)

Education:

  • Minimum BS or higher degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field
