Apprentice Plumber

About the Role:

We are seeking an Apprentice Plumber to join our team at Kimbel Mechanical Systems, LLC. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects. You will work under the guidance of journeyman plumbers to learn and develop your skills in installing, modifying, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining plumbing fixtures in gas, water, and drainage systems.

Responsibilities:

• Learn to inspect, install, modify, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures in gas, water, and drainage systems according to applicable building codes.
• Learn to identify electrical and safety problems and take necessary corrective action to fix them.
• Learn to read blueprints and complete quality control sheets.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and attend apprentice school one night per week until journeyman license is earned.
• Learn from and take instruction from supervisors and perform necessary tasks from all phases of electrical work.

• Leadership skills and the ability to empower individuals on your team.
• Ability to produce quality work and excellent communication skills to be used when working with builders, general contractors, and project managers.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to follow directions and a strong work ethic that you display daily.
• High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
