About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing advanced treatment and comprehensive care to patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
  • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
  • Design functional treatment programs to enable effective return to community activities.
  • Provide education to patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
  • Perform other professional duties associated with patient care, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and program delivery.
Qualifications
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
  • One or more years of clinical experience and a valid state Driver's License for Home Care Requirements.
