Job Summary:The Police Officer is a sworn law enforcement position responsible for enforcing laws, maintaining order, and providing public safety services to the community. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order
- Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence to solve crimes
- Provide information and assistance to the public
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations to achieve public safety goals
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or higher preferred
- Valid California POST Basic Certificate required
- Valid California driver's license required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
