Interventional Radiology Nurse Specialist

Job SummaryThis role involves assessing, planning, evaluating, coordinating, and providing quality-nursing care to patients in the Department of Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures. You will be responsible for monitoring, recording, and analyzing physiologic data during diagnostic, therapeutic, biopsy, and interventional procedures, as well as teaching, providing nursing assessment, care, and interventions to all patients undergoing any interventional radiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized plans of care, and implement interventions to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with colleagues, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and respond to changes in patients' conditions, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.

Qualifications:- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Georgia or eligible for reciprocity.
- Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma from an accredited institution.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
