Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their woodworking needs, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Welcome and engage with customers as they enter the store.
    • Assess customers' needs and suggest solutions to their problems.
    • Answer woodworking-related questions and have a working knowledge of many woodworking tools and equipment.
  • Sales and Merchandising
    • Work with cash registers and process payments.
    • Recommend the best products to customers.
  • Store Maintenance
    • Clean and restock the store throughout the day.

Requirements

  • Customer Service Skills
    • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
  • Woodworking Knowledge
    • A working knowledge of many woodworking tools and equipment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely participate in team lifting.
  • Availability
    • Flexibility to work a 5-day retail schedule (9:00a.m.- 7:00p.m M-Sat and Sundays 11:00a.m. -4: 00p.m for Part Time), and designated holidays.
