Job Summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Safety Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing Construction Project Safety, Health, and Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement site-specific project safety plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with Project Management to implement and lead the Operational Risk Management (ORM) process, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and investigations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near misses, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in a related field, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6-8 years of experience with an Associate's degree or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance with the Federal Government.
  • Experience conducting safety training, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Safety Management Systems knowledge, skill, and experience.
  • ANSI-Z10, OHSAS 18001, ISO 31000 certifications.
  • Understanding of culture and culture building skills.
  • Trainer Designation - OSHA 500/502 - Safety and Health/Occupational Safety degree from an ABET accredited program.
  • Willingness to pursue Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certifications.
  • Previous electrical/construction/industrial/federal and commercial S&H experience.
