Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Strategic Health Partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, daily cash reporting, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a similar role. They will be highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and leadership skills are also essential.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for facilitating and completing full cycle month-end closing procedures, preparing and recording monthly journal entries, maintaining various spreadsheets, and reconciling transactions. They will also be responsible for managing and reconciling employee purchase card statements, matching and verifying invoices and expense reports, and calculating and applying payments for non-medical billing related invoices.
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with Sage Intacct is a plus. They will be able to analyze information, identify areas for improvement, and bring about positive change in our business processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and complete full cycle month-end closing procedures
- Prepare and record monthly journal entries
- Maintain various spreadsheets
- Reconcile transactions
- Manage and reconcile employee purchase card statements
- Match and verify invoices and expense reports
- Calculate and apply payments for non-medical billing related invoices
- Assist with daily cash reporting
- Bank reconciliations and various treasury functions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
- Assist with budgeting
- Assist with external financial audits
Qualifications:
- BA/BS or higher in Accounting
- 4-6 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with Sage Intacct a plus
Work Environment:
This is a normal office environment with occasional evening work. The successful candidate will be required to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Mental/Physical Requirements:
This role requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
