System One is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our integrated voltage-var optimization (IVVO) and fault location, isolation, and service restoration (FLISR) programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize distribution systems using distribution system modeling tools such as Synergi and/or CYME.
  • Create and configure settings for devices, including capacitor bank controllers and reclosers.
  • Conduct modeling to determine optimal locations and settings for capacitor banks and reclosers.
  • Assist in communication and integration testing of capacitor banks with advanced distribution management systems.
  • Maintain issue trackers for field-related problems and provide proactive updates to management.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with power distribution systems and utility operations.
  • Experience with distribution system modeling tools (Synergi and/or CYME).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Advanced Distribution Management System Applications (e.g., IVVO, FLISR).
  • Programming skills in Python and/or C/C++.

Hourly Pay Rate:

$39.25/hr.

Contract Duration: 12 Months
