Nurse Practitioner

Mitchell Martin is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner - Obstetrics and Gynecology to join our team in Spring Valley, NY. As an Obstetrics and Gynecology Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of safe and effective healthcare services.

**Salary:** $75K - $103K per year
**Job Description:
* Develop and implement standards of care and professional practice in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team and in accordance with the center policies and regulatory agency requirements.
* Work 1:1 with a physician to ensure a smooth workflow and assist physicians with examination, diagnostic procedures, and treatment.
* Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process as a framework and adhering to the approved Department of Nursing and the health center standards.
* Potential to assist with births in the Birthing Center.
* Coordinate patient care activities based on established priorities that will result in an effective and efficient patient flow.
* Provide patient and family teaching regarding health promotion and maintenance as well as prevention of illness and injuries and other health-related issues.
* Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and members of the health team about the patient's plan of care.
* Demonstrate responsibility and accountability for nursing practice and the delivery of safe and competent patient care.
* Work collaboratively with members of the interdisciplinary team in the plan and delivery of care.
* Respect each patient's unique individual needs, beliefs, and diversity and incorporate these into the delivery of care.
* Comply with applicable policies and procedures and support the Compliance Program.
* Contribute to organizational operations by performing other duties as may be required.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Current New York State License as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
* Prior experience in labor and delivery or OB/GYN
* Ability and willingness to drive to all locations as needed based on the health center needs
* Bilingual Preferred
* Eligible to Work in the US
