Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Butler America Aerospace, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of connectors, substrates, components, and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, often utilizing paste and sheet epoxies.
  • Performs fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity.
  • Perform surface mount, fine pitch, and through-hole soldering.
  • Able to work with miniaturized tools such as tweezers, fine screwdrivers, and soldering irons.
  • Able to work with precision and follow standardized, existing procedures.
  • Able to attach wires to load cell tabs by following schematics or wiring diagrams.
  • Meet high criteria for quality and output on a regular basis.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly.
  • Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and other similar tools; Good dexterity, eye/hand coordination.
  • Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings; Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities.
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment; Good interpersonal, teaming, and communication skills.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Active J-STD 001 Certification.
  • US Person or US Citizen.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD controlled environment.
  • Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices.
  • Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
