About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at Stamford Health. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in providing quality pharmaceutical care services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately prepare and dispense medication orders according to established policies and protocols.
  • Provide timely and accurate drug information to healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Participate in education and counseling sessions for patients, educating them on medication side effects, indications, and directions for use.
  • Monitor safe and effective medication therapies for patients according to established guidelines.
Requirements
  • B.S. Pharmacy degree required (Ph.D. preferred).
  • Post-graduate pharmacy residency or fellowship training in Oncology highly preferred.
  • License or eligibility to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in Connecticut.
