Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled Consulting and Research Psychologist to join our team at the Devereux Center for Effective Schools (CES). Located in the greater Philadelphia region, the CES is a nationally recognized not-for-profit research and training organization dedicated to addressing the needs of children with and at-risk for developing emotional and behavioral disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Consult with schools and districts to improve school climate and student behavior;
- Develop and implement training programs to promote evidence-based intervention;
- Participate in the design and implementation of applied research;
- Contribute to the implementation and dissemination of currently funded projects;
- Disseminate professional work through presentations and journal articles;
- Design and train data collection and analysis tools and procedures to inform school-based practices;
- Generate funding through writing responses to requests for funded proposals (RFPs) and grant applications;
- Provide mentoring and supervision to staff.
- Ph.D. in school psychology;
- Experience in school settings;
- Ability to oversee research/demonstration projects;
- Training in applied behavior analysis;
- Excellent writing skills and record of publication and/or local or national presentations;
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Eligibility for psychology licensure is preferred;
- BCBA or BCBA-eligible is a plus.
