Banquet Steward

Job Summary: Provide exceptional service to guests by maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport and clean cooking utensils and serviceware to ensure cooks, buspersons, and food servers have the necessary equipment for a seamless dining experience.
• Keep dish machine properly cleaned and filled with water as per hotel standards.
• Operate burnishing machine to maintain silverware's proper finish.
• De-tarnish and polish silverware for a polished appearance.
• Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots, and pans promptly and thoroughly to enable cooks to perform their duties efficiently.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Self-starting personality with a professional demeanor.
• Maintain a neat and tidy appearance at all times.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to lift and push/pull service carts weighing up to 150 pounds.
• Capacity to transport heavy objects through a crowded room.
• Capacity to grasp, lift, and/or carry, or otherwise move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200lbs.
