Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee a caseload of at least 40 cases with meticulous attention to detail.
- Lead and manage the dedicated support staff assigned to your cases to ensure efficient operations.
- Thoroughly analyze legal situations and devise strategic plans to effectively meet clients' needs.
- Direct litigation strategies and represent clients in both state and federal courts.
- Prepare legal documents with precision and conduct extensive legal research to strengthen cases.
- Conduct depositions and mediations, serving as lead counsel in trials and arbitrations with assurance.
- Proficient in communicating effectively in high-pressure situations, particularly when managing emotions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws and procedures.
- Able to navigate challenging or adverse situations with patience and diplomacy.
- Must have experience as lead counsel in jury trials.
- Must be licensed in West Virginia.
- Ohio licensure is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable utilizing technology in legal practice.
- Strong commitment to assisting clients during difficult times and improving their circumstances.
- Possess exceptional negotiation skills, quick thinking, and confidence in a courtroom environment.
- Willingness to travel for mediations and depositions across the state.
