Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Senior Flux Welder to join our team in St. Peters, MO. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations.

About the Role:

  • Perform high-quality welds on steel pipe using MIG/Flux-Core welding techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and quality control metrics.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and meet productivity goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and maintain proficiency in assigned welding techniques.
  • Participate in process improvements and contribute to the development of new welding procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments to inspect and verify weld quality.
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Meet or exceed established production targets and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure effective teamwork.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in MIG/Flux-Core welding.
  • Strong understanding of welding principles and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
