Intermediate IT Support Specialist

As a part of Chenega Defense & Aerospace Solutions (CDAS), our mission is to deliver specialized Engineering and Technical Support Services to federal clients.
The Intermediate IT Support Specialist is responsible for assisting in diverse PC and networking environments. This includes the installation, testing, repair, and troubleshooting of standalone PCs, networked PCs, printers, and other peripheral devices. Key responsibilities also encompass software installation and configuration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical, operational, and training assistance to users of personal computers, either remotely or on-site, for desktop hardware and software solutions.
- Install and test personal computers, printers, and peripherals, configure operating systems, and load application software.
- Diagnose and resolve computer issues, perform hardware and software diagnostics, coordinate necessary repairs, and address system problems, including user and local area network interactions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree (preferred) from an accredited institution OR
- High school diploma or GED equivalent with an additional 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Mid-level position requiring 3+ years of experience.
- IT Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+; Secret clearance is mandatory.
