Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher to teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Sciences to high school students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and be able to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Instruction: Teach a curriculum that prepares students for Advanced Placement (AP) and collegiate level coursework.
  2. Data Analysis: Meet with the principal and/or instructional coach to analyze and respond to trends in student work samples and assessments.
  3. School Culture: Build positive relationships with students, partner with families to support student learning, and engage in practice-based professional development.
Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting students' social-emotional and academic development.
  • Enthusiasm for collaborating with internal and external partners in the best interest of students.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated interest in impacting K-12 students in urban schools and communities (1-2 years experience preferred).
  • Academic expertise in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related fields of study.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

We offer a competitive salary range of $57,000 to $89,000, depending on experience, education, and certifications. Our benefits package includes generous paid time off, comprehensive health insurance, and a 403(b) retirement savings program.
