Dental Hygiene Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist to join our team at the Wyoming Department of Corrections - Wyoming Women's Center in Lusk, WY.

• Provide dental prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and other services to patients.
• Complete periodontal charting and obtain diagnostic records on patients.
• Perform facial and oral tissue screenings during exams.
• Provide individualized oral hygiene instructions and post-operative instructions to patients.
• Monitor oral hygiene and periodontal conditions on each patient.
• Assist dentists as needed.
• Take dental x-rays and impressions.
• Sterilize dental instruments.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by keeping protected health information (PHI) confidential.
• Use TechCare to document dental hygiene services within the patient record.
• Maintain dental supply inventory.

• Dental radiology certification and anesthesia certification are required.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current Certification from an accredited Hygiene Program.
