They should possess a keen attention to detail to ensure outstanding patient care experiences. This role entails managing multiple responsibilities while also contributing to patient care. A minimum of three years of experience in eyewear fitting, selection, and sales, along with at least one year of supervisory experience, is required.

This position will oversee the practice's Optical and Contact Lens operations, along with the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to complete daily operational tasks
  • Support individual and team development
  • Lead daily huddle meetings with the Optical Team
  • Conduct team training sessions and departmental meetings
  • Address patient escalation issues within designated limits
  • Perform duties associated with Eyewear Consultant and Lab Technician roles
  • Respond to complex inquiries regarding insurance benefits and related issues
  • Explore innovative strategies to enhance optical production
  • Assist in managing inventory
  • Coordinate with Virtual Assistants to ensure backend tasks are completed
  • Oversee the completion of team and individual performance scorecards
  • Utilize scorecards to develop coaching and growth plans
  • Ensure adherence to the Elite Vision Care operational standards
  • Exemplify the values of Elite Vision Care
  • Collaborate with other supervisors to ensure a seamless patient experience
  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable the Optical Sales Team

This role requires the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs., and possess good hand-eye coordination, along with the capability to bend, reach overhead, and stoop frequently.

Working hours include Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:50 AM to 6:15 PM, Wednesday from 8:20 AM to 6:15 PM, and Saturday from 8:50 AM to 3:15 PM. There may be occasions where early arrival or late departure is necessary for management activities.
