Responsibilities
- Support Field/Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents in their daily tasks
- Conduct safety audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Read and understand technical drawings and specifications to inform project decisions
- Log submittals, process RFIs, and prepare reports to facilitate project progress
- Assist with surveying and project layout to ensure accurate site preparation
- Maintain and update field drawings, equipment, and records to ensure project efficiency
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure timely project completion
- Coordinate material deliveries and documentation to ensure project compliance
- Attend project meetings to stay informed and provide support
- Prepare memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts, and other documents to facilitate project communication
- Assist with project documentation requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Assist with estimating and soliciting subcontractors and/or suppliers for information and pricing
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project success
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree relevant to the construction industry, such as Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Electrical Engineering
- A desire to pursue a career as a Project Manager, Superintendent, Safety Professional, or Estimator, working on civil projects
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- 18 years of age or older and possess a valid Driver's License
- Willing to temporarily relocate to project locations
- Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party
