Responsibilities

  • Support Field/Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents in their daily tasks
  • Conduct safety audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Read and understand technical drawings and specifications to inform project decisions
  • Log submittals, process RFIs, and prepare reports to facilitate project progress
  • Assist with surveying and project layout to ensure accurate site preparation
  • Maintain and update field drawings, equipment, and records to ensure project efficiency
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure timely project completion
  • Coordinate material deliveries and documentation to ensure project compliance
  • Attend project meetings to stay informed and provide support
  • Prepare memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts, and other documents to facilitate project communication
  • Assist with project documentation requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Assist with estimating and soliciting subcontractors and/or suppliers for information and pricing
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project success
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree relevant to the construction industry, such as Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Electrical Engineering
  • A desire to pursue a career as a Project Manager, Superintendent, Safety Professional, or Estimator, working on civil projects
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • 18 years of age or older and possess a valid Driver's License
  • Willing to temporarily relocate to project locations
  • Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party
